Blah etc. and everything else

    I’ve decided to change my nickname.

Why? Well its kinda awkward to possess a monicker that sounds exactly the same as your boss’,

So here’s a poll for you, my friends, to vote for a nickname for me.

seriously, kasi pareho kami ng nickname ng soon to be boss ko. So to
avoid confusion, eh magpapalit na lang ako ng nickname. hehehe

Saka
parang ang cool din na iba-iba ang tawag sakin everywhere. At least
when somebody calls me, I’d have an idea kung saan kami unang nagkita.

If hindi diver, but willing to snorkel…you can help move the clams from the holding pool to the sea and then watch from above as the divers place the clams. There will also be a short input and discussion with the giant clam experts from MSI who are in charge of the breeding and transport of clams.  You can also discuss with the local managers who have been protecting and building up a stock of clams (so that they will reach a reproductively viable population)

Even if hindi snorkeler, there is a jetty from which you can see so many colorful fishes swimming already.

I am not sure when there will be other opportunities to join a similar activity, they pop up every couple or so years I guess but the potential participants would vary from one occasion to the next–this particular time it’s open.

For those who might be interested in joining a giant clam reseeding activity in Dive and Trek, Bauan, Batangas on May 31-June 1.

P3,100 per person (for one overnight including meals and insurance) (free use of SCUBA gear–if licensed diver–or snorkelling gear if not)

P5,500 to adopt-a-clam (you get a certificate of adoption and the clam is tagged with the name of your choice) (I’m not sure what other benefits you get whenever you come back to check on your clam at the resort but I think there might be some discounts)
