views, being tired and all that JAZZ!!

Well this is my birthday week… yay!
.
Ooooh, I dunno if I mentioned last Feb 14 that the day after that was my birthday… or did I?
.
Anyway, I really felt like going loner on my birthday so true to my mood, I never showed my face in the tambayan.. a weird thing because I don’t usually stay away from the tambayan for more than 20 hours.
.
Well maybe because I had this procedure done that made my face look like somebody sprayed mud all over it. But I guess it looks a bit better now that the scars have healed and all that jazz.
.
Well just in time for the UP fair last Friday, which is also the one I asked Jules to go with me to, then cancelled at the last minute. Sorry dear, the call of booze was much louder and more appealing to me than staying up late watching JJ’s and fretting the moment when one of them might actually jump towards me.
.
Anyway, the next day, I had to go to Jay’s house, he’s my classmate at MS1 and bunk at his place together with 2 others to finish our MS1 project, which is a diorama of the Guimaras oil spill. And during the time I was there I again constructed another expressionw hich my three groupmates will identify me with (the first was pro-active) and that is the expression all that jazz (a replacement for etc.).
.
Well we were supposed to do a project that had relations to each of our fields, namely psychology, political science and chemical engineering. Yeah apparently, political science and psychology had lots to do with oil spills and such.
.
Anyway we’re almost finished with only the finishing touches left. Althouhg I must say we wouldn’t have had to go overnight if only all of us were productive. hehehe. Of course it comes with the whole enchlada that doing group work comes with a bit of horseplay and this time it was youtube madness, a bit of tuksuhan because of Jay and Lady, courtesy of me and Tristan, as well as hangovers (ehem) and puyat modes that had to be remedied by a good dose of Z’s.
.
We ended up painting neon colored houses to represent the coastal villages, and a not so scale model of my proposed oil recovery plant (the Chem eng’g part) with, of course, neon colors.
.
I forgot to take a picture but I really did good in painting the island green and doing a bit of shading and blending. (heheh self- praise)
.
So we ended up watching youtube for the rest of the morning on Sunday, while Lady did most of the work on the diorama (she slept during the night while we painted and stuff). And just before going home, I had an unplanned lunch/merienda with Tere and we looked for cameras at cyberzone so Tere could take memorable pictures during her graduation this march (congrats!) and she promised me a starbucks tumbler… yaay!
.
Anyway I went home to see that my sister bought me a webcam and a mic-headset combo ( although I already have a mic, two actually) which my mom immediately asked me to use so she could talk to my sister (who is in Japan.
.
So during the talk blah blah blah I discovered that I owned a big chunk of land. Nyahahah I’m filthy rich! Joke-ness! Anyway my sister was looking for a house, so she could finally y’know separate herself from the family and my mo offered to sell her the land. Then we later found out that all the land titles were already in our names so that when it was time to inherit them, we won’t be burned by the inheritance tax.
.
Apparently, being the youngest gave me an advantage. Because my sisters had to share the smaller land in Bulacan, while I had the 3x larger one in Cavite all to myself., Nyahahah just cuz I was born late.
.
Anyway, the sales talk and my mom saying that the cash my sister would pay her would be refunded once she (my mom) dies and the convincing that looking for a place to live in Manila is gonna cost a helluva lot more than 1Million the conversation moved towards me buying a laptop.
.
Layo noh?
.
Anyway since my birthday just finished, I fianlly picked up the courage to go thick faced on my sister and ask her to buy me a laptop. But since she’s gonna buy a house, then the phrase "not a chance" would be most appropriate. However, I previously had a deal with my mom that if I was able to sell this PC, this new one I am currently using, then she’d buy me a laptop.
.
Well I guess my mom gets overwhelmed with all the technology, that or she’s just very stingy.
.
Buuuut! My sister’s husband was looking in the market for a desktop PC, and whaddaya know, I was able to sell this one, to him! nyahahah. And tomorrow I shall go laptop window shopping. Nyahahah! My dream finally came true… sniff.
.
And here Iw as thinking that this was the worst February of my life.
.
Nyahahha… And all that Jazz
