Blah etc. and everything else

As usual my Monday and thursday breaks are hellishly long, so when Dianne asked me to accompany her to SM. Little did I know that I was going to spend all my monday money on one visit!

I even spent the money I was supposed to use for re-aff for the org. Hehehe sorry Mae! I’ll pay you tommorow.

On the way home I met a high school classmate, who, though we live only a block away, I haven’t seen since May 2004. Weird huh?

Well I just didn’t want to leave my blog idle so theses entries are churvas lang.

The thing I was dreading went better than I expected, better meaning it wasn’t so bad. Although I think I ruined that day for pretty much everyone. Hahahah. I just found out that I may have been the cause of the purported bad luck that I’ve had with, ehem, a certain situation. I’m so embarassed about what I did that I’m embarassed even if I’m alone.
.
I shall not delve into the details, because as I said, it was embarassing. Although most people might not have put two and two together, I’m giving everyone the benefit of the doubt.
.
Sorry for ruining the sem for you guys, I guess I should have thought more before I acted, it was really stupid of me. Now if somebody finds out what I’m apologizing for, please leave a comment so that I’ll know which people to grovel to.

Onto more serious matters, I think Reactor and Purged will have to wait for publishing until January as I am swamped with tons of work. I do hope that I get over the truckloads before I get overloaded like last semester. And here I was thinking that this sem would be relatively easier than any other semester because I’m taking a lot of GE subjects. Boy was I wrong!
.
I’m not in the mood to go into details, but let’s just say that I was unlucky enough to get G.Es and minor subjects that require a lot of work. It rarely happens that G.E.s need lots of work, for those who don’t know.

Arrrgggh I cant get over what I did!! Waaaahhh
.
Well it’ll fade soon, I just hope it’s sooner.

What else happened?
.
i rearranged my room, very very slightly. i had to add a few stuff to acquire the shoes, which have been accumulating dust in the corner of my room. Apparently I have pretty good old shoes that I can use. hahah.
.
I still haven’t found a plant for ChE 140, although I gave Jeff and Jakky my long long list of contacts. I don’t have time to call people up cuz I’m not home during office hours, and I don’t have access to a phone at school, so I hope Jakky and Jeff get good plants for our plant visit.
.
Well that’s it for now. I wanted tow rite a lot more, but I guess I’ll reservemy thoughts for more gloomy days when gloomy thoughts are appropriate.

I remember going to Divisoria with Dianne, and of all the places to find one, we saw a rainbow. Amidst the hustle and bustle, the smell the sheer number of people, I was able to glance at the sky right after a slight drizzle, and there it was, a rainbow. As if telling me that my legs throbbing should be okay once I get to the jeepney stop and go home.

Earlier today, I was rushing towards UP to go to my 7am class. It was really cold because Christmas is approaching, so after a hurried shower Iwas finally dressed and on my way to school. Although I didn’t see  rainbow I saw something which really made my day… A half full FX. Hahaha. I didn’t have to wait too long to get to school, and I don’t get bad seats.
.
I love the small things that make me smile, because when extremely "happy" things happen, you can’t help but think that somewhere in the near future, an anti-thesis will have to happen resulting in something really… bad.
.
I was really energetic because Sir Terence cancelled our 7-8:30 class and my vacant wasn’t until 1pm. So to use up the pentup energy, I tried a hand at convincing Jon to compete for Ms. Eng’g. Unfortunately it didn’t work. I spent about 2 hours convincing him, offering him stuff but he won’t budge. I was actually thinking of not attending class, hehehe.

I went home early today. Amidst the blazing heat I dared to walk through the roads that led me home. Thankfully, I rode on a brand new Cher bus that still had aircons that work. I fell asleep on the bus, (because it was sooooo comfortable, hehe) and woke up just as the bus was about to arrive at my stop. Cool!
.
Arrived home seeing that my PC is turned off, meaning it’s cooled down and is ready for an all-nighter, which I am doing right now. One of my bittorrent downloads is over (Episode 1-50 of One Piece) and is 85% done with the rest.
.
Now I’m watching anime whit a whole Pomelo in front of me and a big glass of ice-cold home-brewed Japanese Green tea.

What more could a girl ask for?

I woke up this morning having to particular plan for today. I usually take things as they go, after all you cannot plan the future fully so why plan at all. Heheheh
.
I doplan some stuff, but I do not plan them all. Actually it turns out that most of the fun stuff that happens to me are quite unplanned. Walking about minding my business and meeting specific people accidentally, (by specific people I mean people that make me smile) coming across something i haven’t seen before, finding something I’ve been looking for for eons, buying chocolate on impulse, finding a really cute shirt or bag and having money for it, and most especially going on instant trips.
.
Of all of thos I mentioned, I love instant trips the most. Things like, you have an extremely longbreak and everyone agrees to cut class to watch amovie (hehe) or maybe just passing through Sm and deciding to go shopping with friends on the spot.
.
Actually, I find that trips that aren’t roo planned end up materializing more than those that take months to plan. Take our supposed trip to Puerto Galera for example. We planned that for months and ended up not going anyway, or the supposed High school reunion, which has been in the drawing board for three years, or the overnight/inuman that we planned for sembreak at Yoc’s house.
.
But not all unplanned things end up in smiles and satisfaction. Like early today when I decided to have my hair cut because Dianne was going to get hot oil treatment. It was an impulse decision, simply because I didn’t want to wait 45 minutes for her treatment.
.
But gasp, my hair looks like 4$+&^5’s hair! Omaygulay! And to top it all off I look like an oversized parrot (Hi helen, co-parrots na tayo) who decided to go back to the time when aerosmith and bon jovi were the mainstream bands.
.
Hate my hair, pero sabi nga ng isang friend…. Hair grows. So in the spirit of UP, who always teaches us patience (during enrollment specially), I shall wait out the bad hair and have it chopped off!!

PRESIDENT NIKKI, kapwa ko bangag kaninang umaga. Di ko alam kung bakit napaka hyper nya kanina at tawa kami ng tawa kahit kumakain na ng ice cream (wink wink). Although sa-akin ay normal nang maging hyper, nagulat tlaga ako sa energy level nya kanina, sinusurpass ang powers ko.

Si Malenlen, a.k.a. Lenlenini Jamandorini, a.k.a. Lenlenini Bajamundi, sa dami ng pangalan nitong batang ito, isa lang ang masasabi ko… mmmmmmm. Hehehe. Sinamahan ako kanina sa aking apat at kalahating oras na break at na-force idng maglunch kasi nagugutom na ako.

Sir tony na wala pa ding grade sa 133 kahit enrolled na ako sa 135, sana ipasa mo ako sir.

Stephen na kahit hinihila na si Carlo with todo leverage ay hindi pa rin siya mahila. (take note naka cross-sit si Carlo sa floor). And taong may kiliti sa lahat ng bahagi ng katawan na laging nasa REactor meeting kahit hindi sya editorial board. Nyahahaha

Ayan sila ang mga taong bumuo ng araw ko, marami pang iba kaso TMTM (too many to mention) na.  Basta sila yung mga super naalala ko.

WEll, the semester officially begins today. Although someof my other classes did start last week, it is only now that I am able to feel the weight of the number of units that I’ll be taking this semester.

Start off with ES 11
.
Yes the infamous ES, which for meshould be branded ES 22. Well we started off with a decent frist meeting with matching discussion from sir Regio, which of course reminded me that I need an extra shot of espresso every Monday morning.
.
Up next, MS 1
.
I don’t klnow what my professor as thinking, but MS 1 only lasts an hour. He managed to fit in a game of find the thing on the globe while discussing a few importantpoints, as well as documentary film in one class. Tlak about time economy. Anyway, I’m expecting more group work from him, as well as more work outside of class, the activity that I detest.

Hefty break
.
Spent the 3 hour break with Danjun and Dianne. Ate at Shakey’s, which I though was a well deserved break from all the hubub from the morning. I’m not used to all the activity and schoolw ork so I’ms till adjusting. Anyway, once things get busier, especially with Eng’g week approaching, I may not be able to spend time with people outside of Eng’g.

ChE 140 madness!

This is where my world started to curmble. Wel ChE 140 is basically a study on different industries. I was assigned the Potassium industry. I could do with the research, I could even look for books in any library if need be, but the requirement that I fear most is theplant visit.
.
earlier, I already looked for plants/factories online and I didn’t get one name, not a single one! How the %^& am I supposed to conduct a plant visit with no plant to visit? I’m absolutely gonna die!
.
And what’s worse, this is anindividual project, which means I’d have to conduct the plant visit alone.
.
KILL ME NOW!!!

Last but DEFINITELY not the least, PI 100
.
I though I would just breeze through PI 100, after all, it’s not a major subject. But with the amount of work that my prof has in store, I wont be surprised if I get a nervous breakdown come March.

Two different groupings, I’m the leader of both,  2 major projects with reports, a groupwork already assigned, two fieled trips, 4 films to view all of which need to have a reaction on, a skit, another presentation on 19th century revolution, and different analyses of different stuff, also by group, not to mention two exams.
.
I’ll take that lethal injection now…

Gotta wake up @ 5 for my 7am class. I hate my schedule Later. i have a 7-8:30 class, and my next one own’t be until 1pm.Talk about ughhh.

To top it all off I got to go to Caloocan CIty hall tommorow to get my Sk certification so that I don’t have to pay tuition.
.
I’m actually thinking of not attending that 7-8:30 class so that I could go to City Hall before I go to UP. But alas, the prof of my class tommorow is supposedly horrifying, I’ve been trying to stay away from him all these years and the stupid CRs gave me the stupid slot that I didn’t even request for. UURRRGGGHHH!! So being absent on the first dayof class isn’t really the right first impression you’d want to make on a strict instructor.

What I’ll doinstead is attend the stupid class then go back to caloocan to get my certificate, then go back to UP to pay my tuition. Fun huh?

Being a writer (naks writer na sya ngayon!) it is important, no crucial that I read a lot of literature. A teacher once told be that to be a good writer, you have tobea good reader. And not just reading off the newspaper, you’re gonna have to read real bound works, books, novels and such.

Unfortunately, my busy busy schedule, demands too much of me. Therefore I amnot able to indulge in literature as much as I want to. Although I am trying my best. I have Eleven minutes and The Alchemist, both by Paul Coelho on my bedside just waiting to be read.

I honestly don’t know Paul Coelho, but I’ve heard his name a lot of itmes so I guess this’ll be a good read. I’d also like to read like water for Chocolate, but I’m still saving up money to buy it.

Anyway, I still do read stuff, most of which is purely garbage. After all I have to read in order to write about stuff.

I actually thought of making this blog entry when upon reading the headline "Celeb Fashion Faux Pass" I immediately clicked the link. Actually it’s kinda fun poking at celebrity fashion mistakes once in a while, after all, the outfits really are hideous. I make a game of it and guess what’s wrong with the outfit and compare my observations to the observation of the writer. I get everything correct although I miss a few details, especially for hair.

Another sem begins yet again and our hero has started her endeavors towards higher education.

First stop: Nov. 6 Freshman Enrollment

Purpose: Get your classcards!!

     Unfortunately, I only got one classcard that day hahaha. But I got to spend the day with Highschool friends and College schoolmates, Arlene, Dianne and Michelle. We ate lunch at OZ, boisterously Imight add. Where mich had to go suddenly because the fund guy for their thesis wanted to meet with them.

     Little did I know that Dianne, arlene and I would be spending three days together. (We weren’t really close in high school)

Day two: Nov. 7

Purpose: ChESI duty, Get form 5a, Enlist ChE Subjects

     WEll as usual I was late for the 8am meeting for ChE volcorps (ChESI) because I forgot that 7am was actually rush hour and time seems to speed up or rather the buses start to slow down during that time. So I underestimated my travel time and ended upbeing half an hour late, although I did do some work calling out names and stuff.

    While on duty, well, duiring the times that activity was slow and there weren’t a lot of people that needed assistance, I waited in line to get enlisted in two majors that Ididn’t get at CRs, ChE 140 and ChE 135.

     WAAAAAA! I’m so happy, I got the ChE 135 Wednesday schedule which totally freed up my TF. You see the ChE 135 is a lab class that lasts from 7am - 1pm. And it’s only once a week. So if I schedule it Tuesday, like it was supposed to be, I’d have Friday mornings off because Tuesdays and Fridays are always linked. Fortunately, they opened 5 more slots for that subject and I got the third one yay!

     As for ChE 140, I also got the most coveted MTh 2:30-4pm class schedule by none other than sir Munoz!! Yay!!! Hahaha I was all smiles that day, now all that’s missing is PI 100, because I got MS 1 and ES 11 (would you believe it?) from CRS!! I love CRS!!! (This sem lang ha!)

     Later we went to the enlistment room for PI 100 but found out that enlistment is on November 8, bummer, Dianne went to UP for nothing. SO to calm her nerves and pampalubag loob na din we went to 168 in Divisoria to drown our tired souls into shopping, Arlene didn’t come with us.

    We we’re so tired after wards that after I came home I went straight to bed. But I’m happy that I had good finds heheheh.

Day three: November 8

Purpose: Find a PI 100 slot

     Arlene, Dianne and I have been together everyday since November 6. We spent lunch and the rest of the afternoon together on both Nov 6 & 7 and we spent the whole day together on November 8. WE actually ran out of stories to tell each other.

     Anyway, we went to the PI 100 enlistment room, only to find out that all the slots were taken. So we then decided to camp outside Naval’s room at FC 3013, which wasstrategically, near Ocampo’s room at 3003. We camped there from around 9:30 -11 and decided that maybe Naval would be back after lunch.

      So the three of us decided to have an early lunch because we we’re practically doing nothing outside Naval’s room. We went to SM and ate at TOkyo teriyaki, where I got the taste of my favorite California Maki. (yayness!) Jules followed us a few minutes later and we had lunch with him too.

     When we went back to UP, we wanted to camp outside Naval’s room again, only to find out from his roommate that he hasn’t seen him. So losing all hope, we wen’t to Abad’s room, where we found, Ma’am Salanga (My teacher from Hum I) who said that she saw Sir Naval earlier at around 11:30.

          WE LEFT HIS ROOM AT 11:00!! If we had waited we would’ve at least        met him and asked if we could prerog.

     Jules said that his prof was ok and we went searching for her. We found her at the Filipino department at FC and after a few minutes of begging and batting eyelashes and promising to be good students… She took us in, all three of us!!! yayness!!!

     Euphoria surrounded me like flower petals getting carried by the wind! I could almost see my eyes watering and being shiny like Tomoyo’s eyes when she see Sakura (Watch Cardcaptor sakura) Bohahahah!

     At around 1:30 I went back to the ChE department while Arlene went for Post Advising at the CE department with dianne. At the ChE department, I found out from ate Pam that mam Gene already approved REactor for Publishing!! double yay!

     This day ended most of the things that I’ve been worrying about since last week! *sigh

     All that’s left is this stupid article that I have to finish for my boss. Hahahaha
