Blah etc. and everything else

Here I am again, and man did I pick the worst time to get sick. Just got back from the doctor’s, I have a real bad fever and an equally horrendous headache, not unusual but the headache was especially splitting so I decided to have myself checked up, to be honest my paranoid mind thought it might be a tumor or something.

Well it wasn’t a tumor, but it seems I am “slightly anemic.” The fever was caused by sore throat (goodbye Awitan) and the fever symptoms were heightened by the anemia and the cold. What a combination huh? A cold, sore throat, fever and anemia, I haven’t had that bad a combination of illnesses since I got Dengue Fever back in second year High school.

Now I’m taking three pills, not too serious ones though, just iron, vitamin C, and either paracetamol or a decongestant for the headache and the cold. But it really was the wrong time to be sick. I guess the stress has finally caught up with me. Today was supposed to be the day we shoot footages for our entry in the Documentary making contest for Eng’g week, and today is also the day of the first ever, Academic League Leader (ALL), a contest hosted by UP ALCHEMES, I was unable to be in both.

And now I’m not even sure if I could be fit enough, or if the headaches will subside enough for me to go to school tomorrow. Akala ko pa naman nawala na yung pagiging sakitin ko when I entered college, di pala.

.

Well at least I got some rest, and I was able to have quality time with Alan Foust. I also had time to follow up on the past three day’s accounting, well that is when the medicine I’m taking is still in effect and I’m able to read without the splitting headache.

.

Maybe the one day rest will be good for me, I think this is God’s way of saying, “Slow down or you’ll overheat.” Well I’ve come to a full stop, and I’ll start accelerating again tomorrow morning.

As for dokyu, I think I’ll just practice on Adobe premier to make up for my absence and maybe even learn a few more tricks.

For Awitan, I’m hoping the sore throat goes away before we have to sing.

For ALL, well, there’s next year.

.

And I end this entry with the shortest poem I’ve ever made.

Heart at Mind

Torn apart

Worlds apart

Eons Away

Far far away

Confused

But amused

All in the same day

.

It’s more of a sentence really, but, I wouldn’t know where to put the commas and periods.
